The National Fenestration Rating Council, Greenbelt, Md.,will offer an online workshop on June 24 for NFRC-certified simulators that need to fulfill Laboratory Accreditation Program requirements, according to a June 15 release. NFRC-certified simulators are required to attend training workshops when new software is introduced. The training workshop will include use of the Component Modeling Approach Software Tool, as well as limited use of the latest version of THERM 6. The Webinar will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. (EDT). Because this is an online program, on-the-spot analysis of each attendee’s performance will not be available. It is recommended that participants download the CMAST software, THERM 6, and WINDOW 6 before the training begins, but it is not required. A take-home exam will be e-mailed to participants a few days following the training. Those Webinar participants who pass the exam will earn a Certificate of Completion. The registration deadline for this Webinar is June 18. Click here to learn more about the program. To register, write Dennis Anderson, NFRC’s LAP manager, at danderson@nfrc.org.
