Custom Glass wins patent suit

Officials at Custom Glass Products of Carolina Inc., the manufacturer of patented Decralite grids, announced the successful conclusion of its patent litigation case against Infini-Lite LLC involving the Decralite patents, according to a June 11 release. The trial court has permanently enjoined any further infringement of Custom Glass’ Decralite patents and the Decralite trademark. The court also entered a judgment confirming the validity and enforceability of Custom Glass’ Decralite patents and entered a judgment against Infini-Lite, LLC for $8 millionin damages.

These events closely follow Custom Glass’ litigation victory against Collins Custom Millworks Inc. and Thomas Collins, where the Court also permanently enjoined any further infringement of Custom Glass’ Decralite patents. Custom Glass’ Decralite patents are United States Patents No. 5,980,667 and 6,415,579, according to the release.
