Sustainability focus at International Rosenheim Door Conference 2010

On May 20-21, more than 335 professionals from the door industry came to Rosenheim to get up to speed on the major trends in the sector, according to a June 2 release. ift Rosenheim director Ulrich Sieberath summarized the diverse information provided by the 26 speakers at the conference as follows: “Certifying building sustainability boosts quality, because it involves evaluating and monetizing the operating costs of the building. This counteracts a widespread fixation on construction costs, and so is triggering a revolution in product quality and process innovations.”
