Cardinal Glass improves reporting and analysis capabilities

MicroStrategy Inc., McLean, Va., a leading worldwide provider of business intelligence software, today [May 27] announced that Cardinal Glass Industries has selected MicroStrategy to enhance its reporting and analysis capabilities. Cardinal Glass is a recognized leader in residential glass applications, magnetron sputtering, and glass research and development.

A MicroStrategy customer since 2005, Cardinal Glass recently adopted MicroStrategy as its BI enterprise standard.With its expanded deployment, Cardinal Glass will use MicroStrategy to improve manufacturing plant quality by analyzing performance metrics and ranking each plant according to goal attainment.Plant managers, production supervisors, and engineers at Cardinal Glass will run MicroStrategy-based reports and dashboards that help them analyze manufacturing processes, track financial information, and make decisions to improve plant operations and productivity, according to a May 27 PR Newswire report.
