The American Architectural Manufacturers Association, Schaumburg, Ill.,held its 2010 Western Region Spring Meeting, May 5-6, in Oakland, Calif. Several industry experts discussed the current economic outlook, updates to California building codes and other issues directly affecting the Western region of the U.S., according to a May 13 release.
"The Western region faces very specific codes and regulations; therefore, it is imperative to keep members up to date on activities within these states," said Rich Walker, AAMA president and CEO, in the release. "The lab tour and speakers at this spring's event enable attendees to focus on the future of their businesses in order to look ahead and plan accordingly."
