Lami Glass, Hartung Glass add staff

Officials at BC-based Lami Glass and Hartung Glass Canada announced that Brent Cairney has teamed up with the enterprise again as sales representative for the Province of Alberta, according to a May 5 release.

Raised in the family glass business, Vancouver Island’s Alberni Glass, Cairney has worked with and around glass almost his entire life. A glazier by trade, he studied business administration in Vancouver’s Douglas College and has worked in sales with several of the best known glass fabricators in Vancouver. He also worked with a well-known glass hardware supplier for more than half a decade before originally teaming up with Lami Glass five years ago. He has extensive knowledge and experience with all of the company’s laminated, insulating and decorative products, and moved to the Kootenays in 2009 to build a house with his family, which is where his office is now based.

Hartung Glass Industries, Seattle. also welcomed Mike Bischof, who has joined its sales team to serve customers in Northern California and Nevada, according to a May 5 release. Working out of the company’s Sacramento and Union City locations, he is currently being trained to represent all Hartung enterprise product lines including Lami Glass, Agalite Showers & Bath Enclosures and Hartung Studio Decorative Glass.

Bischof has more than 15 years in the window industry in new construction and replacement windows in both wholesale and retail environments. He has an extensive background in B2B sales including studying business management at Sacramento state and active participation in the International Builders Show, Pacific Coast Builders Conference and retail home and garden shows.
