Founder of Westshore Glass dies

Lionel "Link" Elozory, founder of Westshore Glass Corp., Tampa, passed away April 25. He founded Westshore Glass in 1954 and served as CEO for more than 50 years.

Elozory was born in Tampa on Oct. 15, 1928. He graduated from Jefferson High School, and from the University of Florida, where he was a member of Tau Epsilon Phi. He joined the U.S. Navyand served more than 30 years as an officer, including active duty during the Korean War. He was an active member of Congregation Rodeph Sholom.

Elozory is survived by his wife of 50 years, Anne Browning Elozory, his children, grandchildren, sister and her family.

Funeral services were held April 26 at Congregation Rodeph Sholom. Interment followed at Rodeph Sholom Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
