Safelite names new Charlotte area general manager

Officials at Safelite AutoGlass, Columbus, Ohio, promoted of Don Overbaugh to general manager of the Charlotte, N.C., market, according to an April 13 release. He will direct the sales initiatives of operations throughout Charlotte.Overbaugh has more than 22 years of vehicle glass industry experience. After working for Harmon AutoGlass in field management, he joined Diamond Triumph Glass as a regional operations manager, becoming part of the Safelite team through its acquisition of Diamond. Since coming to Safelite AutoGlass, he has served as market manager in Dallas, playing an important role in staffing and sales growth initiatives.“Don possesses a fundamental understanding of the auto glass industry that comes with years of experience,” said Paul Jurgensen, South division manager, in the release. “As our Dallas market manager, he proved to be a results-driven leader who reinforced our core principle of providing exceptional customer service. He will use that same experience to lead our team in Charlotte to continued positive growth.”Overbaugh served in the United States Army for three years and an additional 12 in the Army National Guard. He and wife, Eishia, have three children.
