General Glass International, Secaucus, N.J.,announced its newly formed A&D department and launched an updated company Web site,according to an April 1 release.
In response to the growing market opportunities in the architecture and design fields, GGI added four new members to this team and is now positioned to provide the creative services and support that architects and designers have been asking for.
“For years, we have provided our glazing contractor customers with the highest-level support possible,” said GGI President David Balik, in the release. “This new team will expand that same caliber of expertise to our architectural and design customers as well.”
Members of the new team will focus on strengthening ties with the architectural and design community while providing design-focused support. Stephen Balik joins the company to provide project management and estimating support. Marty Biskup brings 20 years of architectural glass experience to GGI as he provides A&D sales management support. Spencer Raymond, after three years at GGI and six years in the glass industry, joins the A&D team to also provide enhanced project management and estimating support. Zoe Schweitzer joins GGI as the new marketing manager, with a background in marketing, design and fine arts.
