YKK AP America partners with Statre Corp.

YKK AP America, Austell, Ga.,expanded its presence into Michigan by partnering with Troy, Mich.-based Statre Corp. engineers. Company customers now have local professionals to support YKK AP America’s commercial fenestration products, according to a March 1 release.

“We have serviced the Michigan area for over 40 years now and affiliate only with firms we have the utmost confidence in,” said Ted Wantuck, owner, Statre Corp., in the release“YKK AP has a remarkably reputable and well-respected brand, and one which our customers are already excited about. YKK AP’s fenestration products are a perfect complement to our current line of glass and panel products, and will allow us to expand our offering to include high quality, energy-efficient windows, doors and glazing systems.”

YKK AP America expanded its enerGfacade commercial product line at Greenbuild 2009, and has plans to expand its hurricane-resistant and blast mitigation product line, ProTek. All YKK AP products are created in facilities that are environmentally-friendly and ISO 14001 certified, a standard which reduces the environmental footprint of a business as well as decreases the pollution and waste a business produces, according to the release.
