Glass Guru opens new franchise

New franchise owners Tracyand Lucie Woolery announced the grand opening of The Glass Guru of Chico, Calif., according to a Feb. 4release.

The Woolery’s became familiar with The Glass Guru about a year ago, “We heard about the process and witnessed the effectiveness of it," said Lucie Woolery. "We’ve been looking for a new green technology that saves people money and this was it. Now we can save our customers money and save the planet at the same time.”

The Glass Guru’s moisture removal and prevention service usually costs about half the cost of installing quality replacement glass and can save even more compared to full window replacement. While replacement can take a week or more to order and install the glass, restoration usually takes about 15-20 minutes per window, according to the release. While the restoration service can be applied to most dual-pane windows, those with tempered glass or with severe staining usually do require replacement. A free estimate is provided to determine which windows are good candidates for the repair.

Founder and CEO of the company, Dan Frey said, “We are excited about the Woolery’s new store opening and the opportunity for them to introduce our new green repair technology to the Chico and surrounding community.”
