Guardian Industries receives tax credits for advanced energy initiatives

Guardian Industries , Auburn Hills, Mich., is among the companies selected to receive advanced energy project tax credits under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, as announced by the White House Jan. 8, according to a Jan. 11 release. Guardian was approved to receive more than $8.7 million in tax credits under this program. These credits will allow the company, which has plants throughout the country, to develop new opportunities to grow In support of the solar industry.

The time line for the proposed enhancements to Guardian’s facilities will depend upon market conditions, and company officials will share updates on Guardian's development program as opportunities arise.
