The Department of Energy's Highly Insulating R-5 Window and Low-E Storm Window Volume Purchase Program is now seeking proposals from manufacturers interested in participating. Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, which is managing the program for DOE, issued a request for proposal on December 16, 2009, along with specifications, a sample memorandum of understanding, bid sheets, and other documents.The deadline for submissions is Feb. 19, according to a Jan. 5 Window & Door report.
