Glassline Corp., Perrysburg, Ohio, announces the acquisition of the glass processing technology of Aisa S.p.A. , Ticengo, Italy, according to a Dec. 1 release. Aisa produces silkscreen printing machines and paint drying systems, both UV and infrared styles. The Aisa technology includes screen printing accessories, such as squeegee sharpeners, as well as Aisa’s well respected glass handling designs, including loading/unloading, pre-registration systems, accumulators, visual inspection, dimensional inspection, paper interleaving, pairing, and palletizing systems.
This acquisition enhances Glassline’s product line, which includes CNC cutting and grinding systems, double edging lines, drilling machines, centrifugal water filtration systems, screen washing machines andglass handling systems. The company also manufactures high-quality diamond wheels and diamond core drills, thus providing a one-stop source for glass fabricators.
Glassline has existing, extensive, quality manufacturing capabilities for the production of the new silkscreen systems and spare parts, providing economies of scale for improved customer value, according to the release.
