Techna Glass and Clear Tech Capital complete large franchise agreement

On Nov. 9, Techna Glass, Sandy, Utah,entered intoa new franchise agreement with Clear Tech Capital LLC, Salt Lake City, according to a Nov. 10 release. The finalization of this agreement entails the building of upwards of 75 new Techna Glass retail auto glass locations in the near future, mostly in the western United States. This will poise Techna Glass as one of the nation’s foremost leaders in the retail auto glass replacement and repair industry.

“We are very excited about the culmination of this deal,” said Troy Mason, founder/president, Techna Glass, in the release. "It’s fantastic to be growing, especially right now. We felt like we had an opportunity to realize some of our growth potential, and Clear Tech is the perfect fit for us. They not only have experience in the retail auto service industry, but they are a great group of professionals to work with.”

Elliott Smith, partner, Clear Tech, is equally excited: “We have been doing real estate development work for Techna Glass over this past year and have been impressed with the Techna Glass executives and their entire operation," he said in the release. The opportunity to forge this relationship on the franchise level is exciting, and we look forward to taking part in the aggressive, yet controlled growth of this dynamic company.”

The details of the agreement were finalized Nov. 6 at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas during Auto Glass Week. Techna Glass was very involved in the week’s activities. The company sent three technicians to compete in the Auto Glass Technician Olympics. Two of their three participants, Travis Crebs and Josh Call, qualified for the final round and took third and fourth place overall respectively. Also, Corbin Archer, CEO of Techna Glass, was a speaker at the Independent Glass Association’s marketing conference. Archer spoke on “Strategies for Growing Your Business.”
