Southwall Technologies' Heat Mirror glass shines at National Energy Efficiency Competition

Southwall Technologies Inc., Palo Alto, Calif., the worldwide innovator of energy-saving films and glass products, partnered with Milgard Windows, Tacoma, Wash.,to incorporate Heat Mirror insulating glass into energy-saving windows used by Team California in the U.S. Department of Energy's fourth Solar Decathlon competition held in Washington, D.C. Southwall Insulating Glass, a joint venture company formed by Southwall last year, supplied the high performance Heat Mirror glass for the project, according to an Oct. 29 Reuters report.
