NürnbergMesse, the organizer of fensterbau/frontale, the international trade fair for the window, door and facade industries, will expand its relationship with ift Rosenheim, an international test, research and certification center based in Rosenheim, Germany. The two organizations will develop more joint services targeted at internationally operating companies.
“Following intensive talks, the long-standing, close cooperation between fensterbau/frontale and ift Rosenheim is to be raised to a new level,” said Willy Viethen, exhibition director of fensterbau/frontale at NürnbergMesse, in anOct. 8release.
“We want to provide even better support for the work of internationally operating companies by coordinating our international activities and bundling expertise,” said Jochen Peichl, general manager, ift Rosenheim, in the release.
Peichl's organization hosts the Rosenheim International Window & Facade Conference, which begins Oct. 15.This year’s theme is “Energy Efficiency–Comfort–Convenience 2010.” The German research organization has long had a presence at fensterbau/frontale. That event returns to Nuremberg, Germany, March 24-27, 2010.
Joint efforts to be considered include the development of exhibitions, congresses, conferences, individual seminars and dialogue forums for international growth markets. The initial concrete steps include closer coordination and mutual presence at each partner’s events.
Another key objective is to establish networks involving research, politics, associations and industry. “All concerned will profit from these measures,” Peichl continues, “as ultimately we have the same goal: promoting the window industry at international level.”
Viethen says the international strategic partnership fenestration between ift Rosenheim and fensterbau/frontale is the next logical step. “We have been working in unison for a long time and would like to become even stronger in future.”
