Autoglaser.de co-partner in German Master Fitter Competition 2010

The International Automotive Glass Federation and the German Internet platform Autoglaser.de agreed on organizing the German Master Fitter Competition/Deutsche Meisterschaft der Autoglaser 2010 during the glasstec trade show in Düsseldorf, Sept. 28-Oct. 1, 2010, according to an Oct.2 release. The national German event will bring in the German representative of the The International Master Fitter Competition 2010 a couple of days later.

“We are very pleased about this support of Autoglaser.de”, said Pim de Ridder, managing director of InterAutoGlass, in the release. “We will continue the co-operation with united Autoglas, the big market player in Germany and our partner during the competition in 2008. In addition the Autoglaser.de platform and its forum give us entrance to an extensive network of our German colleagues who play an important role in the AGRR industry. This will provide us with the best German competitor during glasstec. I am sure this will also be appreciated by the thousands of German visitors of glasstec.”

Gert Off, founder of Autoglaser.de is looking forward to the co-operation with InterAutoGlass as well. “Co-operating on the glasstec competition will be a new activity for us and will give a deepening to our activities," Off said in the release. "The core business of Autoglaser.de is in the Internet world but we should not forget the importance of old-fashioned contacts between the 900 human beings within our network. The German Master Fitter Competition will enable us to fulfill this role in a creative way as well.”

The German Master Fitter Competition 2010 will be held during the first two days of glasstec, the international variant throughout the last two days.

International Automotive Glass Federation started at the end of 2007. It concentrates especially on technical standards and codes, training programs and health and safety issues. The activities will also be visible in national and international competitions for autoglass technicians or fitters.

autoglaser.de consists of two activities, a consumer’s portal for searching automotive glass specialists. In addition the portal includes detailed answers on AGRR questions. autoglasforum.de is for the eyes of specialists only. The editorial content is constantly updated and provides AGRR trade information on techniques, market and marketing and news. Furthermore it offers training and seminars and it includes a special old-timers intermediary. A users forum on all aspects of the industry completes the information. Both autoglaser.de and autoglasforum.de are active on the Internet since the year 2000.
