Traco closing Tennessee window factory

[Cranberry Township.] Pa.-based window company Traco says it will close its 10-year-old factory in Johnson City [Tenn.], putting nearly 200 workers out of job as early as November.Company spokeswoman Denise Abraham told the Johnson City Press that employees were notified this week. She called the shutdown a difficult decision and blamed the slump in the construction industry, according to a Sept. 24 report in The Philadelphia Inquirer.
