GlassBuild America: The Glass, Window & Door Expo will open its doors Sept. 30 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta. The three-day event will host more than 400 anticipated suppliers representing 15 countries, includingmore than 40companies new to the show.
“All of us at the National Glass Associationare looking forward to greeting thousands of our members and other industry professionals at this week's GlassBuild America expo in Atlanta,” says Denise Sheehan, NGA vice president of Industry Events. “We’re excited by the many state-of-the-art exhibitors that are heading to the show, and pleased to see so many last-minute registrations still coming in. On top of that, the weather in Atlanta is improving substantially from previous weeks, and we don’t expect to have any issues there by the time we arrive for the show.”
A variety of educational seminars, including an Energy Efficiency Town Hall Forum andthe popular Glazing Executives Forum,will be heldin conjunction with the 2009 trade show.
“Late registration for the Glazing Executives Forum has been very strong, and more are coming in every day,”reports David Walker, NGA vice president of Association Services. “We’ve also put together an excellent lineup of seminars for the expo this year, including our blue-chip panel discussion on solar energy technology and markets. It’s going to be a great event.”
