Sejal Architectural Glass Ltd., [India] one of the leading players in architectural glass solutions, today commenced operations in its newly set up Rs 588-crore float glass manufacturing plant here [Jhagadiya].
"This is India's first ever plant, which meets international standards. With the start of this venture, we expect the division to contribute 90 per cent to the company's topline within a year of operation," Amrut Gada, chairman and managing director of SAGL told PTI.
The plant, which is spread across 150 acres of land, is almost complete and is expected to be fully operational in the next four to five weeks, with a capacity to reproduce 550 tons of float glass per day, Gada said, according to an Aug. 28 Business Standard article.
