Graham Architectural completes acquisition of FM Enterprises

Graham Architectural Products, York, Pa., completed the acquisition of FM Enterprises, a Merrill, Wis., based manufacturer of curtain wall windows, storefront windows and doors, and sunshades, according to a July 17 release. This strategic acquisition brings together acomplement of operating windows and curtain wall products, giving GAP a complete architectural and commercial fenestration product offering. The newly formed entity, FM Enterprises, A Graham Architectural company, will operate under the GAP banner.

“FM is an excellent fit in both product and corporate culture for GAP," said Brian Hurley, GAP president and CEO, in the release. "FM’s product offering is precisely what we were looking for strategically to provide our valued customers with a well-rounded product line. We are also excited to have the availability of a skilled workforce that the Merrill, Wis., area can offer toGAP for future expansion opportunities. The addition of FM’s products to our portfolio will enable us to better serve our customers by allowing us to supply the entire job from a single source, something that’s important to many of our customers.”

FM Enterprises will continue to operate as a GAP subsidiary from its 100,000-square-foot facility in Merrill where it employs 33 people. Todd Frederick will continue as FM’s presidentand will maintain a roll-over equity position in the newly formed company.

"Becoming part of Graham will open up new opportunities in markets where we had limited success in the past. I expect this to be a big boost to our business for both the short and long term."

Frederick and his management team will continue to oversee the day-to-day operations in their current capacity, according to the release.
