Sharda Glass Ltd. licensed to use DuPont SentryGlas Expressions

DuPont Glass Laminating Solutions has licensed its DuPont SentryGlas Expressions digital interlayer technology to Sharda Glass Ltd., West Drayton, United Kingdom, according to a July 14 DuPont release. Established in 2006 by Neil Sharda, Sharda Glass specializes in the production of high-performance structural and architectural glass products.The agreement allows Sharda Glass to produce and distribute high-definition, decorative laminated safety glass to meet growing demand for custom designed imagery and aesthetics in laminated glass.DuPont Glass Laminating Solutions chose Sharda Glass to help expand the use of SentryGlas Expressions through its decorative market access and its reputation for high-quality laminating, according to the release. Both the printing and the lamination of the polyvinyl butyral decorative interlayers will be done in Sharda's West Drayton facility, providing a faster, efficient response to customer needs.Sharda Glass is the first licensee in the United Kingdom offering SentryGlas Expressions; it is accepting commercial project orders immediately.“In response to growing demand for innovative ways to combine safety and aesthetics in buildings, we are licensing trusted, quality oriented partners to provide our decorative interlayer technology to architects, designers, builders and contractors," said Valerie A.
