Officials of the National Glass Association, McLean, Va., announced July 10 that more than 2,000 auto glass technicians have earned their NGA certification.“This is indeed a wonderful achievement, and a testament to the importance NGA members have placed on technical quality, safety and professionalism,” said Steve Mort, president of Don’s Mobile Glass and chairman of the NGA board of directors, in a release.
The NGA congratulates all 2,069 auto glass technicians who earned their certification credentials through June 30, 2009.Special recognition goes to Kyle Shattuck from J.N. Phillips Auto Glass Inc., in Woburn, Mass., who was the 2,000th technician to receive his certification."We are proud to recognize Kyle Shattuck, as well as all of our other NGA graduates.NGA training and certification is central to our company’s core values. In fact, J.N. Phillips requires technicians to complete strict standards of training, and adhere to those training procedures at all times.
