The building also features a 13,000-square-foot, 8-ton craned warehouse. In terms of design, keeping with the surrounding buildings the Montreal facility will be modern, wrought primarily of bricks, steel and glass.
“The headquarters’ site in Mirabel was strategically chosen for easy access to freight transportation at the logistical airport of Montreal: Mirabel International Airport,” said Federico Broccoli, President and CEO of the North American operations of Biesse and Intermac, in the relase. “The new Canadian headquarters will be located 5.8 km (3.6 miles) from this airport, and the proximity will allow Biesse to maintain our outstanding track record for shipping and provide the highest level of service and support to our Canadian customers.”
