Pittsburgh Glass Works to supply auto glass for Mercedes

Pittsburgh Glass Works LLC will be the main supplier of windshields and laminated glass for Mercedes-Benz cars and SUVs, the company announced.

The new, expanded multi-year contract with German carmaker Daimler AG builds on “an existing relationship” and requires Pittsburgh Glass Works to invest in manufacturing capacity and technology development. Financial terms were not disclosed, according to a May 26 Pittsburgh Business Times report.
