Glaston releases interim report

Glaston Corp., Finland, released its Jan. 1-March 31, 2009, interim report, according to a May 5 release.

“The glass processing machine market came to a halt in the final quarter of 2008," said Mika Seitovirta, president and CEO, in the release. "The inactive market situation continued in the first quarter in nearly all the market areas. The economic downturn and the dysfunctional financial marketsinfluenced customers' investment needs and decisions."
