Glass Guru launches three franchise locations

The Glass Guru, a full-service glass and window restoration and replacement company with 26 active franchises in the U.S.launched threefranchise locations in Folsom, Calif., Oahu, Hawaii, and Renton, Wash., according to an April 15 release.The new franchisees come from a variety of backgrounds.

Vito Lessa of Roseville purchased one of The Glass Guru’s two company owned locations at Folsom. He had a career in finance and experience in residential construction. He was introduced to the business by long-time friend Frankie Panetta, a trainer and head restoration technician for The Glass Guru headquarters in Roseville, Calif.

Guerric deColigny of Honolulu opened The Glass Guru of Leeward Oahu, the first franchise location for the company in that state. He comes from the event planning business. He will be the first in his state to offer The Glass Guru’s money-saving moisture removal service for failed insulated windows. There is also a large demand on the Island for professional stain removal, another one of The Glass Guru’s niche restoration services.

Lou and Denise Carlascio of Renton, Wash., opened The Glass Guru of Renton, the first in the state. Lou Carlascio has an executive background and spent the majority of his career as president of a prominent Log Home manufacturer. The Glass Guru of Renton will service the greater Seattle area, a great market for the companies’ moisture removal services.

The company plans to add three more locations in April with new franchises in Portland, Ore., Stockton, Calif., and Modesto, Calif . The company continues to seek qualified franchise candidates across the U.S., according to the release.
