A leading Turkish glass manufacturer, Trakya Cam, said on Monday that it signed a feasibility study protocol with Republic of Tatarstan Local Administration for a flat glass factory. According to a notification sent by Trakya Cam to Istanbul Stock Exchange, the Turkish glass manufacturer signed a feasibility study protocol with Russian Federation Special Economic Zone Administration and Tatarstan Republic Local Administration for a flat glass factory.
Trakya Cam Sanayi Corp., which was founded by Turkiye Sise Cam Factories Corp. in 1978, is the leading company and the pioneer of the flat glass industry in Turkey, according to a Feb. 17 TurkishPress.com report.
