First Canadian Glass Doctor franchise opens

Officials at Glass Doctor, Waco, Texas, announced the grand opening of the first Canadian Glass Doctor franchise, Glass Doctor of Kawartha Lakes. Owned by Joe and Wendy Barrieau and Brian Stephens, the franchise is located in Bobcaygeon, Ontario. Glass Doctor plans to open another franchise in Ontario this spring, according to a Feb. 3 release. The company expects to add as many as 10 Canadian franchises in 2009. Franchise territory is available in Edmonton, Ottawa, Toronto and Vancouver.
