Schraml Glastechnik picks Salem as North American agent

Officials at Schraml Glastechnik, Austria, selected Salem Distributing Co., Winston-Salem, N.C.,as Schraml's North American sales agent to promote and sell its topDRILL line of vertical drilling machines, according to a Feb. 2 Salem release. The topDRILL was the first vertical drilling machine introduced into the market in the mid-90s and has had a strong following around the world.

The sales agency agreement went into effect in mid-January with Salem handling all aspects of sales, installation and service. It is anticipated that Salem will stock essential parts for the drill line in the near future, according to the release.
