GED Integrated Solutions Inc., Twinsburg, Ohio, announced the appointment of Bill Weaver to the role of president and CEO, effective Oct. 31, according to an Oct. 21 company release. Weaver, who serves as the company’s vice president of sales and marketing, has more than 23 years experience in the window and door industry, and has been an integral part of the GED team for the past 10 years. He replaces Ron Auletta, GED’s president and CEO for the past nine years, who has recently accepted a similar leadership position outside of the window fabrication industry but will remain involved with the company in an advisory capacity as a member of its Board of Directors.“I am delighted to be passing the baton to Bill, as he possesses the vast customer, product and industry knowledge necessary to successfully lead GED into the future,” Auletta said. “Of equal importance, he is supported by an exceptional senior management team with over 46 years of collective industry experience and tenure at GED. Along with our highly skilled associates, they will continue to deliver the latest product innovations and exceptional service our customers deserve and come to expect.”
