Macao imported 1.56 million kilos of float glass and surface ground or polished glass, in sheets, worth$634,000 in the first half of this year, as compared with imports of 1.42 million kilos worth$455,000 in the same period in 2007, according to the Macao Statistics and Census Service, Sept. 15.

Poland produced 33.2 million square meters of “sheets of float glass and surface ground or polished glass, in sheets, but not otherwise worked” in the first half of this year, a year-on-year increase of 4.9 percent,according to a report from Poland’s Central Statistical Office Sept. 15.
