During the first 3Q, price of flat glass widely varies. The total output of flat glass is 413,480,000 weight cases, increased by 9.2% and the growth rate slows down by 5.3 percentages.

In September, the ex-factory price of flat glass is 69yuan/weight case, a slowdown of 3yuan/weight case from this year’s record high in July, and an increase of 1yuan/weight case year-on-year. At the end of September, the storage of flat glass reaches 22,500,000 weight cases, up by 31.1%.

At the first 8 months, China building material industry gains 69.1 billion yuan of profit, risen by 35.8%, in which flat glass industry earns 430 million yuan, dropped by 71.7%.
