Tses Glass, a glass manufacturing company based in Namibia, has signed with BDF Industries to supply the furnace and equipment for a container glass plant in Namibia.Germany-based Heye International is the engineering, procurement and construction management firm for the 250 tons per day container glass plant, while Germany-based Siemens, Zippe, MSK, and ghs | glass are the OEM companies for the equipment, technology and processes.The development of Tses Glass is expected to create more than 230,000 new direct and indirect better paying job opportunities in Tses and throughout Namibia. The construction of the Tses Glass Container Glass will start in May 2014 and will be completed 26 months later.Between now and May 2014, different infrastructure projects such as energy, water, transport, and raw materials need to be developed independently and be fully operational before construction starts, in order to efficiently serve the Tses Glass Container Glass factories.Tses Glass’ overall aim is to have four separate manufacturing plants in a single location in Tses, Southern Namibia.
