Chandra Somany receives 43rd Phoenix Award

Mr Chandra Somany, Non-Executive Chairman on the Hindustan National Glass (HNG) board, was awarded the 43rd Phoenix Award at a ceremony in Berlin on Friday 11th October 2013.Members from the Phoenix Award Committee, as well as distinguished guests and family and friends of Mr Somany gathered at the Adlon Hotel, Berlin to celebrate with a drinks reception and banquet in his honour.Mr Somany has served the glass industry since laying the foundation of Hindustan National Glass and Industries Ltd in 1952.A full report of the event will be included in the November issue of Glass International magazine, as well as an exclusive interview with Mr Somany. 15.10.2013, Hindustan National Glass/glass-international.com
