Flat glass output was up 17.2 percent in January to November 2011, compared to the same period in 2010, according to a Jan. 3 article from Xinhua. The industry has suffered from overcapacity, and in October 2011 China's National Development and Reform Commission announced moves to curb the problem, according to the article.
