Gerresheimer Shuangfeng and Gerresheimer Wilden stage a joint exhibition: API/Interphex, November 5-7, 2008 in Suzhou

For the pharma & life science industry in Asia, API/Interphex - one of the most important information and contact exchanges of the year is opening its doors in the Eastern Chinese city of Suzhou (Jiangsu Province). At the trade-fair and congress event in Shanghai's widely-famed neighbour city, the Gerresheimer Group is exhibiting an interesting range of high-calibre pharma packaging and systems. The Chinese tubular-glass specialist Gerresheimer Shuangfeng is present as a local participant staging a joint exhibition together with the plastic-systems experts of Gerresheimer Wilden (November 5-7, 2008 in Suzhou International Expo Center, Stand 4A208).

The attractive stand in Gerresheimer's distinctive design is certain to attract the attention of specialist visitors. The Group is today recognised as one of the worldwide technology leaders in both glass and plastic across the pharma & life sciences field. In China alone it operates six high-tech production plants, of which two in Jiangsu Province belong to Gerresheimer Shuangfeng. The combined platform of the Chinese tubular-glass company and its European sister in the Group, Gerresheimer Wilden, which concentrates on the individual project business in technical medical plastic systems, represents a premiere: "We are presenting our services on this combined platform for the first time in the Asian market," says Burkhard Lingenberg, Director of Marketing und Communication for the Gerresheimer Group.

The presentation displays the latest status of technology across the board. Attention is focussed first of all on the Group's extensive tubular-glass products ranging from syringe systems to cartridges and pharmaceutical vials in a multitude of variants and secondly on a highly innovative spectrum of individual customer-specific system products made of plastic, including for example inhalation devices, lancets and finger-prick aids for diabetic patients, quick tests and disposables for the laboratory, such as cuvettes. Whether in glass or plastic, a wealth of highlights awaits visitors to the Gerresheimer stand.
