Soda ash price cuts; companies suffer a large pressure on storage

Recently, although soda ash companies reduce the price almost to the cost, the impact from production reduction and off production of the downstream companies has reduced the consumption of soda ash and increased the storage.

In September, the output of caustic soda is 1,481,000 tons, down 6.2%; from January to September, the total output of caustic soda is 14,544,000 tons, an accumulative increase of 8.7%. Obviously, the output of caustic soda in the first three quarters increases less and less. The after-market of caustic soda keeps deteriorated. Companies have taken measures to pull the business through.
