Competitive soda ash market in northeast China

After hearing that Liaoning Dahua Group, the only soda ash company in northeast China, will halt the production in two days, supply of soda ash swarms into this area.

Shijiazhuang supplies light alkali at a price of 1,300 yuan/ton; Tangshan, 1,400 yuan/ton; Inner Mongolia, 1,200-1,300 yuan/ton; Shandong, 1,600-1,700 yuan/ton for high quality and 1,240-1,270 yuan/ton for low quality.

Liaoning Dahua Group raises its price to 2,050 yuan/ton. Due to the downturn of downstream demand and sufficient supplies, the later market is predicted to fall.
