Fuzhou to release new policy for building energy conservation

In recent years, Fuzhou has collected information on energy consumptions of residential constructions, office buildings and so on, and built a database. Besides, the “Interim Measures for Rewarding Building Energy Conservation” will be released in Fuzhou City.

Energy conservation in buildings is an important part of the energy conserving and emission reducing strategy. For years, a complete regulatory system has been formed for building design, review, construction, etc. After surveys, a database for building energy consumption has been set up.

Leaders of Fujian Construction Department has made a research in Fuzhou and claimed the next step of work for energy saving in buildings. Meanwhile, Fuzhou will become a test region for reclaimed water reusing, water recycling, roof greening and permeable brick.
