Metropolitan Glass Receives 2013 Circle of Safety Award; Hires West

Pinnacol Assurance awarded its 2013 Circle of Safety award to Metropolitan Glass.  Metropolitan Glass is one of fifty recipients to receive this award out of 55,000 of Pinnacol Assurance’s policyholders.

“It’s an honor to accept this award on behalf of our hard-working field personnel,” says vice president Sean Moore. “As a company, we continue to be committed to our safety program.”

The Circle of Safety award was created by Pinnacol Assurance in 2008 to recognize policyholders for their exceptional risk management, which includes safety, loss prevention, financial management and claims management.

In other news at Metropolitan, the company hired Toby West as project manager. West is a Colorado native with brings seven years of project management experience. He began working for Enclos Corp. in 2008, where he worked in the positions of project coordinator and assistant project manager. In 2013 he became a project manager for Blocka Construction.

West holds a bachelor’s degree in construction management from Colorado State University.
