Asahi India Glass Stops production of float glass at Taloja Plant

Asahi India Glass Ltd has stopped production of float glass at its Taloja Plant (T-7, MIDC Industrial Area, Taloja, District Raigad - 410208, Maharashtra) owing to age and expiry of useful / operating life of the furnace. Further, the Company is in process of taking necessary steps for the purpose of closure of the float glass manufacturing unit at Taloja Plant.

Shares of ASAHI INDIA GLASS LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.71.85 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 68.25. The total number of shares traded during the day was 51057 in over 999 trades.
