The Italian manufacturers are widely presented at the Mir Stekla exhibition, which will take place on June 4-6, 2014 at Expocentre Fairgrounds. Companies from Italy traditionally presented as the Italian Pavilion.

 

In the 2014 Mir Stekla edition, the Italian Pavilion will host 30 companies. Among them such major players as ALU PRO S.R.L., ANTONINI SRL, BOTTERO S.P.A, GIMAV-ITALIAN ASSOCIATION OF GLASS PROCESSING MACHINERY AND ACCESSORY SUPPLIERS, OCMI-OTG S.P.A.

 

The Italian companies have outlined several key strategic objectives at Mir Stekla, including the development of construction, medical packaging. According to them the Mir Stekla exhibition is the main strategic partner, and Russia is a market strategically oriented to high quality products.

 

According to Matteo Padovan, General Director of LLC Fenzi and OOO Alu-Pro in Russia, “Mir Stekla is traditionally held at the peak of seasonal growth of activity for the whole housing sector, and, therefore, this event is strongly connected with the development of the market of glass”. According to his estimations, the Russian market will have a positive dynamics in the near future, and some segments, such as housing construction and the automotive industry, will show significant growth. As for trade and business relations with Russia, Matteo Padovan adheres to the positive forecasts and is sure that further cooperation will only grow, especially noting the growth opportunities in the construction sector.

 

The Russian market is usually the market with long-term prospects. The Mir Stekla exhibition, according to Michaele Gusti, President OCMI-OTG S.P.A., is traditionally an opportunity to strengthen relationships with clients and to keep abreast of the latest projects that are in development. Therefore, Mir Stekla is the main event where the company OCMI always takes part.

 

Sergio Corno, Director of sales OCMI-OTG S.P.A., is pinning his hopes on the development of pharmaceutical containers because the Russian market lacks reliable suppliers who are willing to provide complete solutions. Also Sergio Corno noted that at the Mir Stekla exhibition his company will present the latest developments in the field of manufacture of a medical glass, full cycle of production lines such as Stemware Sealing Machine.

 

The company Forza G already does business in Russia. However, in 2014 the company is ready to present yet another novelty at the Mir Stekla 2014 exhibition. This is a water purification system used in the vertical and horizontal center of numerical control.

 

Russia is a key market with the increasing demand for the Glaston products, which together with its long-term partners TB Technologies will once again participate in the Mir Stekla exhibition. According to Federico Bassi, sales Manager Glaston Group, the company prepared a number of traditionally popular equipment and some brand new solutions for the Russian market.

 

Officina Meccanica Schiatti Angelo participates in the Mir Stekla 2014 exhibition at the stand of the Gimav Corporation. According to Cinzia Schatti the Russian market has enormous potential and the company's participation in Mir Stekla 2014 will bring the desired results.

 

The largest manufacturer of equipment for hollow glass ANTONINI SRL has also reserved a couple of the latest developments such as the technology of cold processing of end faces and new items in the line of scrapers to show at «...the largest and most influential exhibition in Eastern Europe...". Antonini is confident that the Mir Stekla exhibition offers "...a very real opportunity to establish new business contacts, to see the range of new projects..."

 

The Italian pavilion is located in Hall 1 of Pavilion No.2.
