Karen Doucette Starts KD Curtainwall Services

Karen Doucette, most recently a project manager at Woodbridge Glass/Werener Systems, has started her own project manager support business, KD Curtainwall Services LLC, in the Los Angeles area.

“It is difficult for companies to consistently maintain the exact number of qualified personnel to manage their projects profitably and on time,” says Doucette. “Often, projects come in unexpectedly when there are no qualified candidates available. Or perhaps the project your company just landed doesn’t warrant hiring an additional full-time employee, but you still need some help. That’s where I come in.”

Prior to her near two-year stint at Woodbridge/Werener, Doucette spent 11 years at Architectural Glass & Aluminum after a five-year career at Apex Curtain Wall Group.
