Sergei Melikov visited Caspian float glass plant

Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of Russia Sergey Malikov during his stay in Dagestan today visited the Caspian float glass plant in the village. Tube Kumtorkalinsky district.

He was accompanied by the Chairman of the Government of the Republic of Dagestan Abdusamad Hamidov, chief federal inspector for RD plenipotentiary representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the North Caucasus Federal District Vasily Kolesnikov, Deputy Chief of Staff and Heads of Government RD Israpilov Arthur and others.

Executive director of the plant Abakar Mudunov briefed about the production capacities of the enterprise, how the plant was built. He said that the Caspian float glass plant - a large-scale investment project, which includes the construction of an industrial enterprise for the production of flat glass manufacture capacity of 600 tons per day, applying the most advanced technology of the glass industry.

The plant will produce both tinted and reflective glass types. In 2010, the Government Decree RD project was given the status of priority investment projects of the Republic of Dagestan. Since January 2012 began the active phase of construction. To date, the plant was put into operation.

Melikov toured the plant. At its base are concrete plant, office building customer and general contractor, a hostel with 250 seats, furnace building, building float bath building annealing furnace (ler) and cutting lines, finished products warehouse, workshop and composite pavilion unloading raw materials warehouse cullet etc.

At the end of the meeting Abakar Mudunov noted that at present, the plant has a few problems, including gas supply company. Melikov it commissioned a certificate which will reflect all the problems of the organization, and to present it to him in the embassy in Pyatigorsk.
