PPG publishes new consumer electronics coatings brochure

PITTSBURGH, July 9, 2014 – PPG Industries’ (NYSE:PPG) industrial coatings business has published a brochure covering its full line of coating, pretreatment and customer support solutions for designers and manufacturers of consumer electronics.

The four-page booklet details PPG’s environmentally-friendly powder coatings, along with liquid coatings such as ultraviolet (UV)-cure, polyurethane, waterborne, soft-touch and non-conductive vacuum metallizing (NCVM) products. ELECTROTOUGH™ epoxy electrocoats (e-coats) and ELECTROCOLOR® acrylic e-coats also are highlighted.

The brochure also describes PPG’s integrated line of pretreatment products, which fight corrosion and promote adhesion of coatings on substrates such as stainless steel, aluminum and magnesium.
