Investments in the development of the construction industry of the Sverdlovsk region in the coming years should be about 20 billion rubles, according to the director of the Union of Construction Industry of the Sverdlovsk region Yuri Chumerin at a press conference on Wednesday, the press center of the agency "Interfax-Ural" in Yekaterinburg.

"At the moment we have planned together with the Ministry of (construction - IF) and are actively working to attract investment. Our task in the coming years to attract investment of about another 20 billion rubles," - he said.

In particular, according to Yu.Chumerina, the region plans to construction, including cement, glass and limestone plants. He noted that currently the construction industry in terms of the Sverdlovsk region is put together Chelyabinsk and Tyumen regions, as well as the Khanty-Mansi and the autonomous area. "The investment we are going overseas, Belgian investments there, Chinese investment has already declared, then Russia - from other regions of the country, investors are here," - said Yu.Chumerin.

In turn, the Minister of Construction and infrastructure development of the Sverdlovsk region Viktor Kiselyov said at a press conference that to date the construction industry of the Sverdlovsk region of almost 100% self-sufficient in building materials. "I will say more, we provide building materials and our neighbors, we have a policy such that we need to produce building materials, not only for themselves but also for the neighbors," - he said.
