In the capital of the Altai Territory is preparing to open a personal exhibition of Vladimir Muratov.

August 15, 2014, at 16 am at the State Art Museum of Altai Krai a solo exhibition of Vladimir Muratov, "Art, born in the fire", dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the artist.

Born Vladimir S. Muratov, August 27, 1929 in the village of Khmelevka Sorokinsky Altai Region. He graduated from the Odessa Art School and the Leningrad Higher School of Industrial Art named after Vera Mukhina.

He worked as an artist at Gusev Crystal Factory, which revived and creatively reworked folk traditions free-blown glass. Since the 1970s, becoming known as the author of a magnificent glass sculpture. Muratov works found a place in the collections of leading museums of our country, and several works in the famous Corning Museum (USA), where the best samples of glass from ancient Egypt to the present day, as well as the Museum of Glass in Osaka (Japan). v In the 1990s, the master became interested in art enamels. Of every creative trip brought a lot of watercolors - another passion of the artist. Some of them were later sketches for enamels.
