The head of the region has been tasked to implement at the local level for 2013 at least 124 projects, covering thus almost all rural areas. Currently sold 177 settlement projects created 605 jobs. Deputy Minister for Trade, Investment and Entrepreneurship of the Republic of Dagestan told about the Caspian float glass plant. The enterprise is located in the village of Tube Kumtorkalinsky district. Currently, the plant has successfully competes with major foreign manufacturers of flat glass, products are shipped to Georgia, Azerbaijan, Ukraine and Kazakhstan, in the near future planned shipment to Turkey and Turkmenistan. Implementation of the project gave a powerful impetus to the development of Makhachkala port and rail lines. The plant provides tax revenues to the budgets of different levels of more than 1 billion. Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Volgograd region Pauline Vergun described the establishment of a system for processing and disposal of solid municipal (household) waste in the area. The project is implemented in the format of a public-private partnership.
